Born to be wild…

Last Friday, Camila and I packed up our cameras, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement as we headed to Narnia Retreats for a content day like no other. Nestled in the heart of nature, this stunning log cabin was the perfect backdrop for capturing some magic—not just for my personal branding but also for my new venture, The Wild & Free Club.

If you know me, you’ll know I thrive in the wild—whether that’s being out in nature, embracing a little bit of adventure, or spending time with the people who bring out the best in me. This setting was exactly what I needed to create content that truly reflects who I am and what The Wild & Free Club is all about.

Now, I won’t lie—I was a bag of nerves! Being in front of the camera has never come naturally to me. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned about branding and social media, it’s that showing up as yourself is essential. Camila, being the incredible photographer she is, made the whole experience effortless. She put me at ease, we laughed our way through the shoot, and before I knew it, we had an entire gallery of images that I genuinely love.

We made the most of our surroundings, capturing everything from cozy cabin vibes to those free-spirited, barefoot-in-the-woods moments. And, of course, we had to celebrate a successful shoot in true Wild & Free style—firepit lit, our favourite pizzas in hand, and a bottle of champagne popped under the stars. The night ended with our own little party, soundtracked by our go-to playlist, and plenty of behind-the-scenes content that we’ll be sharing as part of our Storytelling package.

This experience reminded me exactly why I created The Wild & Free Club—to help small business owners and creators see that branding and social media don’t have to feel overwhelming. It should be fun, a true reflection of who you are, and something you actually enjoy!
